By Bryan Koch

According to reports, President Bush phoned Bruce Arena and the U.S. National Team prior to their match with the Czech Republic:

"Bush referred to Arena variously as 'sir,' 'big guy' and 'a good man.' Bush told the U.S. team to 'give `em hell.'"

Upon learning of America's 0-3 result, the President summoned his photo-op team, and threw on his honorary National Team jersey.

His message? Simple.

"Mission accomplished."
